My Relatonship With Erasure

I have been an Erasure fan since I first heard Oh Lamour one night in the summer of 1988. I have seen them live five times - three concerts ['97, '03, '05], one 4-song accoustic show ['97], and a 1-song radio station appearance ['95] - And I have met them three times ['95, '97, '05].

  • Favorite E Album: Self titled, followed very closely by Nightbird.
  • Favorite E Song: Take Me Back
  • Favorite E Video: Toss up between 'Don't Say Your Love Is Killing Me' and 'Make Me Smile'.
  • Favorite E "Look": I've always been a fan of the Cowboy promo pictures.
  • Favorite E Quote: Don't be afraid, love will mend your broken wing.

And yes, I am actually the same little "Zoe" and "Arazyre" that ran "Hideaway" in the late 90s. Except I'm 30 years old and just go by my real name, now :)

About Hideaway

This site has been online since late 1996, starting as a one page "shrine" describing how much I loved Erasure and how starstruck I was when I met them for the first time. As I slowly learned more about the internet, websites, and designing, this site grew. While it's never been the most popular Erasure site, it is one of the oldest, and the gallery of images I've collected in the last ten years is one of the largest on the internet.
